Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Patrol in Lacey, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations. Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery operations in accordance with site requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
