Your Mission:Â
The Quality Technician I performs basic inspection and testing activities to ensure incoming materials, in- process production, and finished products meet customer and company specifications. This role works under close supervision and supports quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment.Â
Explore the Depth of the Role:
- Measure and visually inspect parts to verify conformance to specifications
- Approve incoming materials, in process production, and finished goods based on documented standards.
- Document inspection results in reports and logsÂ
- Initiate non-conformance reports as directedÂ
- Communicate required adjustments to Production SupervisorÂ
- Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and verifying calibration statusÂ
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiativesÂ
- Support ISO9001 quality system requirementsÂ
- Perform other duties as assignedÂ
Requirements
Mission Readiness:
- Associate degree or technical certificate preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experienceÂ
- 0–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentÂ
- Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometersÂ
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)Â
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skillsÂ

Physical Requirements:Â
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.Â
- May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.Â
