You will be the engine behind our hiring process—managing our applicant tracking system, identifying high-quality candidates, and acting as a brand ambassador for Scouting at local career events. This is a flexible, part-time role perfect for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources or Recruiting while making a tangible impact on the community. Primary Responsibilities Maintain and update our recruitment database, ensuring all candidate information is accurate and moving through the pipeline efficiently. Review resumes and conduct initial applicant screenings to identify candidates who align with our organizational values and job requirements. Occasionally attend local career fairs and community events to promote Scouting as an employer of choice in the Greater St. Louis Area. Assist in scheduling interviews between hiring managers and top-tier talent. Serve as a point of contact for applicants, providing a professional and welcoming candidate experience. Qualifications High School Diploma required; current college students or recent graduates pursuing opportunities in Human Resources, Business, Non-Profit Management or Communications are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a quick learner of new software/databases. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a "people-first" attitude. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across a 20-hour work week. Reliable transportation is required. Ability to occasionally travel to event sites within the St. Louis metropolitan area (mileage reimbursement provided). Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Why Join Us?
