Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer tracks program performance, oversees data collection, and ensures high-quality reporting across organization projects. Working closely with project teams, this role establishes key performance indicators, designs measurement tools, and analyzes project data to measure impact, foster organizational learning, and ensure accountability to partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Framework & Indicator Design: Support the development and implementation of M&E frameworks, logic models, and target performance indicators aligned with organizational goals.
• Data Collection & Tool Management: Design, test, and deploy quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, including surveys, questionnaires, focus group protocols, and field observation forms.
• Monitoring & Field Supervision: Conduct regular field visits and site monitoring to observe project activities, verify data accuracy, and assess implementation progress against timelines.
• Data Analysis & Quality Assurance: Clean, analyze, and manage primary and secondary data sets using statistical software; establish routine data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Reporting & Documentation: Synthesize findings into clear monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports for internal leadership, donors, and strategic partners.
• Learning & Adaptation: Lead reflection sessions and post-implementation reviews with project teams to translate data insights into actionable programmatic improvements.
