This role involves cleaning, organizing, and maintaining guest suites and common areas to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities: Room Cleaning: Â - Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the resort's standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms. Â - Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed. Â - Replenish guest room supplies, such as toiletries, coffee, and tea. Â - Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Manager. Public Area Maintenance: Â - Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities. Â - Ensure public areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards. Â - Monitor and replenish supplies in public restrooms and other common areas. Guest Interaction: Â - Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Â - Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously. Â - Provide information and assistance to guests as needed. Inventory Management: Â - Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities. Â - Ensure proper storage and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment. Adherence to Standards: Â - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Â - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort. Â - Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Team Collaboration: Â - Work closely with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations. Â - Assist with special projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper. Â - Support and train new housekeeping staff as needed.QualificationsQualifications: Experience: Â - Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. Â - Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Skills and Abilities: Â - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Â - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Â - Good communication and customer service skills. Â - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs). Certifications: Â - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Â - Certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus.
