Job Description:

IHOP is looking for dependable, hardworking, and passionate Cooks to join our restaurant team. As a Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering the quality meals our guests know and love. From world-famous pancakes to breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites, you'll help create an exceptional dining experience by preparing food safely, accurately, and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to IHOP recipes, quality standards, and guest specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper portioning.
• Stock and prepare ingredients for service, including prepping and storing food items properly.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and fellow kitchen team members.
• Assist with inventory management and notify management of product shortages.
• Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure guests receive timely service.
• Support other kitchen and restaurant duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or cooking experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
