Job Details: Job Location: PJK Food Service LLC - Landover, MD, Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00Hourly, Job Summary:  The Custodian is responsible for performing cleaning duties and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that the Keany building is maintained in a healthy and sanitary manner.  Essential Job Functions:   Wash and disinfect all bathroom floors, toilets, sinks, fixtures, and mirrors.  Replenish all toilet tissue, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and hand soap, as needed.  Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans daily.  Clean outside grounds daily.  Clean entrance and exit including floors, glass, doors, and hardware.  Clean offices and conference rooms, dust all furniture and fixtures as needed.  Damp mop hard floor areas and vacuum all carpeted areas.  Clean all break rooms, office kitchen areas, sinks, and counters.  Clean and disinfect all water fountains.  Wash and scrub floors with floor scrubber.  Bail cardboard waste for recycling using the cardboard bailing machine.  Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies.  Restock supplies.  Perform other related duties as required.  Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:   High School Diploma or GED  Must be knowledgeable of standard cleaning procedures and chemicals.  Ability to make decisions and solve problems.  Must be able to work under minimal supervision.  Must be flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics.   Possess high energy and a team attitude.    Physical Demands:   The custodian is a physically demanding position. The custodian spends most of their time at work standing, walking, sweeping, and mopping floors.    Working Conditions:   Temperatures can be as low as 40 degrees in some areas.   The noise level is moderate.
