26-1652 Relief Van Driver AMHS/Charter House

Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of Charter House Coordinator, operates a van, picking up program participants and delivering them to the program site and returning them to their homes upon completion of daily activity. Takes participants to special activities at the direction of the supervisor/facilitator.  Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures. 

Requirements: Possession of a High School diploma or G.E.D. is required. A minimum of three months work experience with driving responsibilities is required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job-related use is required.

Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check and verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $15.58 per hour. 0 - 19 hours per week. Relief position – filling in for regular staff.  Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
