JOB TITLE:  

Archives Aide Expeditor

JOB PURPOSE:   

Assisting the AHC Accessioning Unit by placing newly rehoused and listed collection material into the archival storage areas and completing accompanying paperwork and data entry for essential workflows within the AHC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Performing weekly shelf checks to ensure collections are returned to proper storage.
  • Entering data into the AHC collection management database.
  • Carrying out additional support tasks, including filing, general cleaning and maintenance.
  • Operation of a large format shredder.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS: 

Additional tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds with or without accommodation 
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

1 year of work history
