JOB TITLE:  

Football Gameday Chain Crew

JOB PURPOSE:   

Serves as the primary group that manages distance and downs under the direction of the officials. The Chain Crew must follow instructions form officials, properly manage equipment, exhibit consistency and keep up with the pace of the game physically.        

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Required to be able to help at all football games for the 2025-2026 season
• Stay engaged in the game and display professionalism at all time
• Able to move chains along sidelines in a timely manner
• This job will entail running along sidelines and being outside for extended periods of time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Education:  High School Diploma
• Must be able to run, walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of football rules and regulations
• Knowledge of chain crew etiquette preferred
• Must be able to attend every home football game and arrive 2 hours prior to kickoff.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Works successfully with others
• Strong communication skills
• Able to stay calm in high stress situations
