Position Overview:
The Embroidery Machine Operator operates multi-head, computerized embroidery machine.

Essential Job Functions:
- Uses computer to retrieve art, log into and out of orders, and log orders into next location.
- Uploads digitized file into embroidery machine.Â
- Selects correct logo rotation for specified item.Â
- Inputs thread color sequence.Â
- Hoops items in specific hoops for the item insuring they are hooped straight.Â
- Observes and ensures embroidery is placed as specified on the product without defects.
- Responsible for quality throughout job run.
- Make machine adjustments as needed (tension, changing/centering needles, checking bobbins, etc.).
- Is aware, observes and follows all sharps safety protocol.
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety rules.

Requirements:
- Ability to bend and lift boxes of items to be embroidered (no more than 35 lbs.).
- Speed and accuracy to meet production quotas.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate with department leads.
- Printing and Embroidery background is a plus.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.

Physical Demands:
- Bending and lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time.
