Medical Front Desk Receptionist
A dynamic Pediatric Practice in Las Vegas, NV, with six pediatricians and four pediatric nurse practitioners, is seeking a friendly, outgoing front office medical assistant and/or call center operator who enjoys working with children and has experience in doing so. The Front Desk Receptionist and/or Call Center Representative should be very responsible and have a high sense of accountability and honesty. Must have experience with use of Electronic Medical Records and medical insurance verification. Fluency in Spanish is a requirement.

Duties:

•Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

•Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered; completing insurance forms; responding to insurance and other third-party inquiries.

•Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

•Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.

•Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
