About this role:  

As a Pediatric Neurosurgeon with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.   

  • You’llĀ joinĀ IntermountainĀ Nevada Children’s Pediatric Neurosurgery team,Ā initiallyĀ as one ofĀ twoĀ full timeĀ pediatric neurosurgeons.Ā You’llĀ collaborate with an established APP,Ā supported byĀ collegialĀ staffĀ and leadership.Ā Ā Ā 
  • All ofĀ yourĀ clinic, surgicalĀ and callĀ responsibilities will beĀ conveniently located on oneĀ hospital campus.Ā Ā 
  • SustainableĀ callĀ rotation, withĀ additionalĀ compensation for supplemental coverage.Ā 
  • You’llĀ beĀ eligibleĀ for an adjunct faculty appointment with the University of Utah Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery,Ā consistentlyĀ recognized as a top pediatric neurosurgical program.Ā Ā Ā 
  • While notĀ required,Ā opportunityĀ forĀ leadershipĀ andĀ researchĀ rolesĀ willĀ existĀ over time.Ā Ā

Pediatric Neurosurgery is a cornerstone specialty of this vision, creating significant opportunities for program growth, innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical leadership.Ā

This is a rare opportunity toĀ shapeĀ a growing pediatric neuroscience program at a pivotal moment. The incoming surgeon will have a meaningful voice in strategic planning, program development, clinical pathways, recruitment, and the future growth of pediatric neurosurgical services throughout the region.Ā

Compensation will include a guaranteed base salary, withĀ an initialĀ starting bonus andĀ relocationĀ assistance.Ā Ā

WhatĀ you’llĀ bring:  

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine  
  • ACGME accredited residency training inĀ Neurological Surgery, and fellowship training in Pediatric NeurosurgeryĀ 
  • Board certification or eligibility inĀ Pediatric NeurosurgeryĀ 
  • Active, unobstructedĀ Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one  
  • Federal DEA RegistrationĀ 
  • BLS certificationĀ 
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process  
  • All general and sub-specialty interestsĀ welcomed.Ā
