The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospitalin Las Vegas, NM to recruit a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department.

In this role, The RN is responsible for providing rapidassessment, triage, and comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients withacute and critical conditions while coordinating interdisciplinary treatmentplans in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and EmergencyDepartment standards

Schedule: PRN | Days | Nights

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care
  • Assess patients’ physical andpsychosocial conditions appropriately
  • Monitor patient conditions, respond to& communicate clinical changes, & document care accurately
  • Precept new staff and provide guidanceand support to LPN and CNA team members
  • Maintain professional standards,licensure, certifications, continuing education & competency requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsand uphold QHC Service Excellence Standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Additional Requirements:

  • Maintain patient confidentiality,ethics, and safety standards
  • Adapt to patient and facility needswhile supporting other departments
  • Ensure attendance, timely taskcompletion, and an organized care environment
  • Perform RN, Patient Care Technician, andUnit Coordinator duties as needed
  • Foster positive relationships withpatients, families, and staff

What We Are Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited nursingprogram (Diploma, ASN, or BSN)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the Stateof New Mexico
  • Current CPR certification; PALS and ACLSpreferred
  • Previous Acute care hospitalexperience preferred
