Material Handler

This role involves the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products to support operational needs.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
* Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
* Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
* Pick and stage materials according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto trucks.
* Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
* Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.

Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
* Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
