Generally you will be going to the home of the individual.  This position requires a great amount of commitment, self-motivation and solid communication skills.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned): Provides instruction and assistance to individuals in areas of daily living including but not limited to personal hygiene, cooking, house maintenance, social interaction with peer group, mobility training, constructive use of leisure time and personal finances. Services can be delivered in either small group settings or one to one services  Negotiates schedules and daily activities directly with the individual and/or caregiver. Establish and maintain regular hours with the individual(s) that you work with. Completes all mandated reporting requirements by Wildwood and regulating agencies.                                                   QualificationsAdditional Requirements: A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required. Must be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS OPWDD mandated criminal background check process.
