The Staff Pad is proud to partner witha leading healthcare organization in Lawrence, MA, and we are seeking anexperienced Geriatrician to providecomprehensive care to older adults while helping lead and develop community-based geriatricservices.

This role offers the opportunity tobuild lasting relationships with patients while working alongside amultidisciplinary care team.

WhatYou’ll Do

KeyResponsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary and geriatric care
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans
  • Provide preventive care and promote healthy aging
  • Coordinate care with specialists, caregivers, and community resources
  • Support population health and value-based care initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, and other care team members
  • Develop and improve community-based geriatric care programs
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to members of the care team
  • Promote evidence-based approaches to patient care
  • Participate in shared telephone call coverage as needed
  • Support quality improvement and innovative care delivery initiatives

WhatWe Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is passionateabout improving care for older adults and advancing innovative approaches tocommunity-based care.

Education,Certifications, Licensure and Experience

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted medical license
  • Experience providing care to older adults

AdditionalSkills and Attributes

  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong leadership and program development skills
  • Interest in prevention and healthy aging
  • Ability to build strong relationships with patients and families
  • Spanish fluency preferred but not required
