The Staff Pad is proud to partner witha respected healthcare organization in Lawrence, MA, to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Primary Care Office (FamilyMedicine).

Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

WhatYou’ll Do

PatientCare

  • Administer medications and provide basic wound care under clinician supervision
  • Prepare and administer immunizations for patients across all age groups
  • Educate patients on chronic disease management, including diabetes and hypertension
  • Triage patient calls and address clinical concerns
  • Support care coordination and positive patient outcomes
  • Obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and maintain accurate records in Athena
  • Perform in-office procedures, including EKGs, strep/flu/COVID testing, and ear lavage
  • Manage lab samples and maintain accurate documentation

Clinical& Administrative Support

  • Support efficient patient intake and smooth daily office operations
  • Assist with documentation, scanning, correspondence, and other clerical tasks
  • Maintain and replenish medical supplies
  • Autoclave instruments and assist with vaccine supply management
  • Support prior authorizations and communicate with medical insurance providers

Quality& Teamwork

  • Follow clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Support onboarding and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance patient care

WhatWe’re Looking For

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts LPN license
  • 2+ years of recent nursing experience; primary care preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • AthenaHealth experience preferred
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
