WhatYou’ll Do
PatientCare
- Administer medications and provide basic wound care under clinician supervision
- Prepare and administer immunizations for patients across all age groups
- Educate patients on chronic disease management, including diabetes and hypertension
- Triage patient calls and address clinical concerns
- Support care coordination and positive patient outcomes
- Obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and maintain accurate records in Athena
- Perform in-office procedures, including EKGs, strep/flu/COVID testing, and ear lavage
- Manage lab samples and maintain accurate documentation
Clinical& Administrative Support
- Support efficient patient intake and smooth daily office operations
- Assist with documentation, scanning, correspondence, and other clerical tasks
- Maintain and replenish medical supplies
- Autoclave instruments and assist with vaccine supply management
- Support prior authorizations and communicate with medical insurance providers
Quality& Teamwork
- Follow clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support onboarding and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance patient care
WhatWe’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license
- 2+ years of recent nursing experience; primary care preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited RN/LPN program
- AthenaHealth experience preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
