Explore Our Departments

Grocery

Help keep the store stocked, organized, and welcoming. Grocery team members assist customers, operate registers, receive deliveries, stock shelves, build displays, organize backstock, and support departments including Front End, Wellness, Bulk, Dairy, and Frozen Foods.

Meat & Seafood

Work in a refrigerated environment preparing, portioning, packaging, and merchandising fresh meat and seafood products. Team members assist customers at the service counter, maintain product quality and food safety standards, and help create an exceptional customer experience.

Produce

Receive, prepare, stock, and merchandise fresh fruits and vegetables while maintaining quality, freshness, and presentation standards. Produce team members help create abundant, attractive displays and assist customers with product selection and questions.

Kitchen & Deli

Prepare and cook a variety of ready-to-eat foods including grab-and-go meals, soups, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast items, pizza, and other hot food offerings. Team members support food production, maintain food safety standards, and help provide fresh, convenient meal options for customers.

Bakery

Work in a commercial bakery producing and packaging a variety of baked goods. From our popular scratch-made scones, cookies, cakes, and pies to locally sourced specialty bakery items, team members help create, package, merchandise, and maintain an inviting bakery experience for our customers.

Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and the position. Most new team members begin near the entry rate, while candidates with specialized experience, such as skilled bakers or meat cutters, may qualify for higher starting pay.At The Merc, we're more than a grocery store.
