Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: PROGRESS ROAD - LAWRENCEVILLE, GA 30043Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: Other Price Industries Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for its growing US office and manufacturing facility located in, Lawrenceville, Georgia. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of Manufacturing within their department, including Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Training, Morale, and Continuous Improvement.  This role operates on a four-day, 10-hour workweek (Monday through Thursday). Available shift hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Responsible for providing second shift coverage when the regularly assigned second shift counterpart is unavailable with an adjusted day Responsibilities Improving the Efficiency and Utilization of the Production Department Quality of the products built and effective resolution of quality issues Identifying problem root cause and implementing corrective and preventive measures to ensure no repetition Utilize functional support departments to resolve quality issues Identify and resolve Safety concerns Ensuring work instructions, procedures and policies are being followed Motivating department members through involvement, communication, and positive reinforcement Provide employees with feedback through formal and informal Performance Evaluations Monitor attendance and take disciplinary steps as required up to the termination Dealing with grievance and conflict in a clam, controlled and professional manner Manpower planning and effective staffing, which includes operators, lead-hands, and master crafters Ensuring effective training and cross training Mentoring and developing lead-hands so they can manage the hour-by-hour manufacturing operations Driving continuous improvement within departments to achieve better quality, efficient productivity, and delivery performance Driving force behind 5S Use Lean Manufacturing and other techniques Ensure daily shop clean up actions are performed effectively and required daily machine preventive maintenance actions are carried out as required Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Exceptional leadership skills with a sense of urgency and strong aptitude Create accountability and lead by example Make sound and timely decisions Develop, maintain and motivate a strong team Ability to work with minimum supervision Organized and detail oriented Solve practical problems and difficult situations Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Additional Qualifications College Degree or High School with 5 years of experience 3+ years of supervision role with a proven track record in a high volume, multi-product environment – Preferably in sheet metal and HVAC Experience in Lean Manufacturing Comfortable in a team-oriented environment Proficient in MS Office Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, extreme cold and dust.
