Excavator Operator

NarrowWay Energy is hiring a full-time Excavator Operator for our Northern Bobwhite project.

Pay: $20 - $35 per hour, plus $100 per diem.

Responsibilities:

• Run excavators safely and efficiently for trenching, grading, digging, and material handling on a utility-scale solar job site
• Do daily pre-use inspections and basic equipment maintenance, and report any issues
• Follow site plans, grade stakes, and directions from foremen and site management
• Work with ground crews and spotters, and follow all safety, PPE, and environmental rules
• Keep the work area clean and safe

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating excavators, preferably in construction, solar, or utility work
• Able to read grade stakes and basic site plans
• Strong safety record and commitment to job site safety
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and work extended hours when needed
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• OSHA 10 is a plus; a valid driver's license is preferred
