Kinship Coordinator / Navigator (Full-Time)

Family Resource Center | Upper Valley – Lebanon, NH

Help families find their way forward. Be the connection that makes a difference.

At Waypoint, we believe families are stronger when they have the support, resources, and connections they need to thrive. We're looking for a compassionate, resourceful, and community-minded Kinship Coordinator / Navigator to join our Family Resource Center team in the Upper Valley, based in Lebanon, NH.

Kinship caregivers — grandparents, relatives, and other trusted adults raising children when their parents are unable to — often step into an important role with little time to prepare and may not know where to turn for help. As our Kinship Coordinator / Navigator, you'll help these families find their footing by connecting them with resources, navigating services, and building relationships that strengthen families and communities.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through genuine relationships, creative problem-solving, and collaboration with community partners.

What You'll Do

Be a guide and advocate for kinship families

  • Connect kinship families with community resources and services.
  • Help caregivers navigate benefit applications and support systems.
  • Build relationships with local agencies and community partners.
  • Coordinate family support and maintain a caseload.
  • Support Family Resource Center programs, events, and activities.
  • Help ensure families feel welcomed, heard, and supported.

Who are we looking for?

Someone compassionate, resourceful, collaborative, and organized who enjoys building relationships and making connections. An associate’s or bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is preferred, with relevant experience considered. Experience in family support, kinship care, home visiting, or resource navigation is a plus.

At Waypoint, we value authentic relationships, bold ideas, continuous learning, inclusion, and a culture where everyone feels they belong.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for some educational requirements.
  • Experience: Experience with home visiting, kinship care, resource navigation, and/or parenting education preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with trauma-informed care, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), preferred.
  • Screening: Successful criminal background check required. Individuals with a history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation are not eligible for this role.
  • Driving: Valid driver's license and proof of active automobile insurance with minimum liability coverage of $50,000/$100,000 required.

The Waypoint Culture

At Waypoint, we believe how we work together matters just as much as the work we do. We strive to create an environment where people feel welcome, valued, supported, and empowered to make a difference.
