Our client is looking for an experienced andenthusiastic Chef to join our busy kitchen team, working alongside ourlong-standing Head Chef.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-pacedkitchen, preparing a wide range of food throughout the day. One minute youcould be preparing food for a children’s birthday party, and the next producingmain meals for families, groups, events and corporate functions.

The Role

You will work closely with our Head Chef toensure food is prepared quickly, consistently and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing and cooking dishes from our main menu
  
• Preparing food for children's birthday parties
  
• Cooking burgers, ribs, chicken, sides and other popular family meals
  
• Preparing food for functions, events and corporate bookings
  
• Assisting with food preparation before busy service periods
  
• Working efficiently during high-volume and fast-paced services
  
• Ensuring dishes are presented consistently and correctly
  
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
  
• Monitoring stock and helping reduce food waste
  
• Following food safety procedures and kitchen systems
  
• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  
• Helping train and support other kitchen team members when required
  

Requirements

• Is comfortable working evenings, weekends and busy holiday periods
  

Experience in a busy restaurant, familyentertainment venue, pub, hotel or similar kitchen would be an advantage.

The location is in one of Jersey's busiest familyentertainment venues, offering parties, events, food andentertainment.

Our kitchen caters for everything fromchildren's parties and casual family meals through to large events andcorporate functions, so no two days are the same.
