How You’ll Make a Difference

This isn’t about making collection calls just to check a box. You’ll take ownership of your portfolio, build relationships with customers, and dig into accounts to understand what’s really standing in the way of payment.

Your judgment, persistence, and ability to connect with people will help protect important customer relationships while keeping our business financially strong.

What You’ll Do

• Own your portfolio. Manage B2B collections across seven South Texas branches, review aging and account activity, spot payment trends, and take thoughtful action to reduce delinquency.
• Build relationships that get results. Connect with customers through calls and emails each day while keeping every conversation professional, respectful, and personable.
• Dig in and solve problems. Research billing disputes and reconcile deductions, chargebacks, credits, and invoices to understand what’s holding up payment and find the right path forward.
• Work as one team. Partner with Sales, branch teams, and leadership on account priorities, keep clear collection notes and reporting, and bring forward ideas that help the team work smarter.

What You’ll Bring

• A natural way with people. You build rapport easily, can navigate difficult conversations with professionalism, and know how to work with different personalities.
• B2B collections experience. You bring 1–3 years of experience in business-to-business collections, Accounts Receivable, reconciliation, or a related area. Experience managing a sizable portfolio is a plus.
• Strong judgment and curiosity. You notice patterns, ask good questions, and aren’t afraid to dig deeper to understand what’s happening with an account and how to move it forward.
• Comfort with the tools of the job. You’re comfortable with Excel, Word, and collection or CRM systems. Salesforce experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn matters just as much.
