Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV.  This is a growing division of Amteck that offers competitive pay, benefits and room for advancement within the company.

We are currently hiring Tech 1's to add to our growing Technology team in Louisville. We are looking for individuals that have an interest in the low voltage realm of electrical.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below

  • Install, maintain and repair devices and cabling of low voltage systems in commercial and industrial buildings including pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate cables and fiber, and installing cable trays and pathways
  • Demonstrate ability to learn how to use hand and power tolls in a safe and cautious manner
  • Begin learning how to read schematics, drawing details, wire maps, and other drawings

Requirements include but aren't limited to the below

  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with low voltage systems preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to read a measuring tape
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of customer relationships and concept of customer satisfaction, with an aptitude for growing that skill
