Job Description:

· EHS EngineerSchedule: Onsite 2nd Shift 230/3-1030/11 PM EST Can work 4
10-hour shifts or can consider 4 9's and a 1/2 day on Friday but 4 10-hourshifts is preferred. Possible temp tohire. Interview: Onsite

· 3 Skills: Need 3-5 years good Safety Engineer Exp, plus with Ergonomics bckgrnd.
Strong People/ Comm Skills, this team works with EVERY dept in the plant andwill be on 2nd shift with little leadership so will need to be able to think ontheir feet quickly.

· Someone who hasstrong experience in manufacturing large equipment, CNC, heavy fabricationbackgrounds would make a great fit.

· Full manufacturingassembly plant

· True manufacturingexperience At least 3- or 5-years’ experience Familiar with the manufacturingenvironment Machinery/safety lock out tag out (LOTO) experience
Environmental experience, dealing with hazardous or non-hazardous waste Very
personable, good team player, flexible lots of machines, robotics Unionfacility, union experience a plus

Job Responsibility

· Assist with theimplementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, practices,guidelines, and procedures. Identify location-specific requirements for eacharea and participate in the development of related programs and policies.

· Assist in developingtraining programs and conduct
training to comply with regulatory corporate EHS initiatives.

· Supervise the Incident/accidentinvestigation process including root cause analysis and ensure correctiveactions are completed.

· Conduct environment,health and safety audits and
risk assessments. Participate in external EHS compliance audits and lossprevention
Audits.

· Coordinate thecompletion of all corrective actions with site personnel
resulting from risk assessments, compliance audits or loss prevention audits.

· Liaise withfacilities maintenance and property management personnel to ensure appropriatefire and life safety controls are in place and maintained.

· Oversee and implementpermitting requirements for air, water, and land jurisdictional
Requirements.

· Serve as a sitecontact point for government inquiries relating to EHS.

Experience/Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree ina related field of study

· Extensive knowledgeof health and safety engineering processes and practices

· Ability to manage andcontrol various health and safety issues

· Familiarity with ISOenvironment regulations and principles

· Skill in evaluatingand minimizing physical and chemical hazards

· Ability to researchand apply best industrial and working
Practices

· Minimum 1-2 years ofexperience in an environmental, health and safety or
similar role.

· Awareness of changesin laws and regulations

· Strong teamwork andproject leadership abilities

· Exceptionalorganizational and interpersonal skills.

· Effective managementand multitasking capabilities
