Job Description

We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 1 day a week.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Section Specialist. The position requires the person to:

Expertly perform a variety of complex and specialized duties, which require a thorough knowledge of the function performed.
Effectively communicate by phone or letters as requested
May be responsible for the direction and training of others.
Assists with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request.

Desired Skills & Experience

High school education or its equivalent is preferred.
Three or four years of job related experience and some educational course work is desirable.
The ability to understand and carry out complex verbal and/or written instructions.
