Job DetailsJob Location: Lexington Campus - Lexington, MA 02421Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: Travel to multiple campus'Job Shift: Sunday ResponsibilitiesJob Category: FacilitiesGrace Chapel is seeking a Part-Time Event & Hospitality Specialist responsible for independently running Sunday café operations and serving as the onsite point person for event hospitality and setup.  This role ensures that café spaces and rental events are well-prepared, welcoming, and smoothly executed for congregants, guests, and rental clients.    Position Summary  This is a hands-on operational role responsible for both café leadership and event hospitality execution.  Key responsibilities include:  Independently leading Sunday café operations   Executing event setup, breakdown, and onsite hospitality support   Ensuring spaces are prepared, organized, and ready for guests     Responsibilities:   Sunday Café Operations   Independently run all Sunday café operations (7:00am–2:00pm)   Oversee setup, service, and closing procedures each week   Recruit, train, guide, and support café volunteers   Maintain a welcoming and efficient guest experience   Manage café inventory and supply ordering   Follow cash handling procedures    Event Operations & Hospitality  Independently set up and breakdown event spaces (tables, chairs, layouts, room configurations)   Serve as the onsite point of contact for rental clients during events   Ensure spaces are fully prepared and ready prior to guest arrival, reset spaces post event   Support smooth event flow and guest experience throughout rentals   Communicate any issues or needs to the appropriate teams    General Upkeep & Readiness  Maintain cleanliness and presentation of café and event areas   Perform light cleaning and resets as needed during events and Sundays   Identify and communicate facility or maintenance concerns     QualificationsWho You Are  A self-starter who is comfortable working independently   Strong in hospitality, customer service, and guest experience   Confident leading volunteers and working with people   Calm under pressure and able to solve problems in real time   Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented   Comfortable in a hands-on, active environment      Schedule & Requirements  Required: Sundays 7:00am–2:00pm   Additional availability for evenings and Saturdays (events)   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain physically active during shifts   Reliable transportation
