Concession Stocker

Position Summary: 

As Concession Stocker at Keeneland Hospitality, you are responsible for moving nonperishable items throughout the facility to ensure concession stands are well stocked and operational. In addition, stockers perform light cleaning duties, including trash removal, to maintain a clean and safe environment. This role requires a quick learner who is mature, self-motivated, reliable, and dependable. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Transport nonperishable food, beverage, and supply items to concession stands and other designated areas as needed. 
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing stock rooms.
• Remove trash and ice while performing light cleaning duties throughout the concession areas and portables. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage and service areas.
• Respond promptly to restocking requests from supervisors and concession staff. 
• Assist with inventory counts and reporting low-stock items. 
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines. 
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic. 
• Adhere to Keeneland hospitality approved uniform and dress code standards. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately. 
• Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated. 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
• Capable of walking and standing for extended periods. 
• Adhere to Keeneland hospitality approved uniform and dress code standards. 
• Strong teamwork and communication skills. 
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during race meets and events. 

Licensing Requirements: 

• A valid Fayette County Food Handler’s License is required for all food and beverage staff. Must be obtained prior to the first scheduled shift. 
• A Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license is required for all track workers. This license will be provided to you on behalf of Keeneland upon hire.
