At Sonesta, exceptional hospitality starts the moment guests arrive ā and our Van Drivers help create safe, smooth, and welcoming transportation experiences for every guest. As a Van Driver, youāll provide friendly and reliable shuttle transportation while helping guests feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their journey.

What youāll be doing
What youāll be doingĀ
Provide safe, friendly, and professional transportation for hotel guests to and from airports, local attractions, corporate offices, event venues, and designated destinations.Ā
Welcome guests warmly and assist with luggage handling, loading, unloading, and transportation support during arrivals and departures.Ā
Maintain strong knowledge of local roads, airports, transportation routes, traffic patterns, and nearby attractions.Ā
Ensure hotel shuttle vehicles remain clean, organized, fueled, and guest-ready throughout shifts.Ā
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or operational needs promptly to leadership teams.Ā
Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Bell Services, Concierge, Security, and hotel leadership teams to support seamless guest transportation experiences.Ā
Assist guests with directions, hotel information, local recommendations, and general hospitality support as needed.Ā
Maintain accurate transportation logs, operational records, and shuttle schedules according to hotel procedures.Ā
Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, hotel operational standards, and transportation guidelines at all times.Ā
Support group arrivals, VIP guests, conferences, weddings, and special event transportation operations as needed.Ā
Help foster a welcoming, energetic, and guest-focused atmosphere aligned with Sonestaās People People philosophy.Ā
Any other duties as assigned.Ā
Ā
What great looks likeĀ
Previous driving, transportation, hospitality, shuttle, valet, guest service, or customer service experience preferred.Ā
Valid driverās license with a clean driving record required.Ā
Ability to safely operate hotel shuttle vans and transportation vehicles according to company and legal safety standards.Ā
Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.Ā
Knowledge of local roads, airports, transportation routes, and hospitality service standards preferred.Ā
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Ā
Positive attitude with a dependable, service-focused, and team-oriented mindset.Ā
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and airport shuttle support as needed.Ā
A passion for hospitality, guest engagement, teamwork, and creating safe and memorable guest experiences.Ā
Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information
$25.13-$26.25 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills, and job specific/overall experience.
