We are looking for a creative and data-driven Junior Email Marketing Specialist to support the planning, creation, and execution of email campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and interested in email marketing, automation, and campaign performance, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns.
- Assist with managing email marketing calendars and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time.
- Assist with building and setting up email campaigns using email marketing and automation platforms.
- Manage and organise email lists, including segmentation and basic personalisation based on user data and behaviour.
- Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and assist with preparing performance reports.
- Support A/B testing and help identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.
- Ensure email campaigns are accurate, properly formatted, and aligned with email marketing best practices.
- Assist with maintaining clean and organised email databases.
- Collaborate with design, content, and client service teams to support wider marketing campaigns.
- Stay up to date with email marketing trends and best practices and apply learnings to future campaigns.
- Undertake any other duties related to the role as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field would be considered an advantage.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of email marketing and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, SendGrid, Campaign Monitor, or similar tools.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in understanding campaign performance and using data to improve results.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop new skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of financial markets or fintech is a plus.
