Job DetailsJob Location: Dickinson East - Hamtramck, MI 48212Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob Category: Whole Family Success-School AgJob Duties:   Under the direction and supervision of on-site staff, the Student Group Leader will:   Assist and support after school staff with various aspects of the program Clean, prep, and organize program supplies for lessons and activities Assist with escorting students during program transition times Provide academic assistance to students in small group settings Assist with serving snacks and dinner Assist with field trips and program events Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Must be 16+ years of age Provide a required work permit Provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or other adult (non-family) Criminal Background Check Drug Screening Covid Vaccination TB Test & Physical Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form Good interpersonal and professional skills, including but not limited to-professional appearance, tact, punctuality and dependability   Physical Requirements and Work Environment Schools/Professional: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk, sit, see, talk and hear, and use hands to manipulate. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb steps, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to supervise students, requiring the employee to match walking speed that matches the student and may at times require the ability to run to safeguard students. The employee must occasionally lift (up to 50 pounds), carry, and move students.  Employees must occasionally move equipment and/or supplies. The job is performed for the most part in a school setting with occasional outside weather conditions. The noise level is that of a typical school setting.   Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to various sites. Licensing and Other Requirements: Valid identification and reliable transportation.
