Working within the scope of their training and certification, this role assists with patient flow, clinical procedures, specimen handling, and maintaining a safe, efficient clinical environment.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Welcome patients from the waiting area, escort them to exam rooms, and prepare them for dermatology procedures and specialized testing. Educate patients on treatment plans and medication processes as directed by the provider. Perform suture removals in accordance with established clinical protocols. Assist with the cleaning, sterilization, and processing of medical instruments. Transport patient specimens to the Histology Laboratory for processing. Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms to support efficient patient care. Provide clinical assistance to dermatology providers during patient visits and procedures. Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record as directed by the provider. Support team members in ensuring a positive patient experience and smooth clinic operations.This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced dermatology setting while contributing to high-quality patient care. Schedule & Compensation Hours: Full-time (80 hours per bi-weekly pay period). Flexibility: Monday–Friday, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:15 pm. Pay: Competitive wage based on experience and licensure.Requirements: What You’ll Need Education: High school diploma or GED required. Certifications: Ability to obtain CPR/BLS (within 60 days), Medication Aide (within 90 days). Experience: Previous medical experience is a plus, but a "self-starter" attitude and a team-player mentality are essential.
