FOOD PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER

Location
- Rhode Island Food Factory: 263 Jenckes Hill Road Lincoln, RI 02865 | 4:00 am - 12:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
The role of the Food Production Team Leader is to assist the Production Supervisor and Production Manager to ensure the smooth operations of the factory.
- Maintain food supplies and calculate ingredients needed from the fridge and conduct daily production record
- Assign duties to production teammates
- Ensure the production areas are cleaned and ready for use at all time
- Check food quality according to the Bento’s standards
- Take corrective record according to product’s quality
- Coach teammates on all operating standards including food safety and quality control
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- You thrive in a highly repetitive task environment
- Able to work in a refrigerated, cold climate (10°C working climate, 4°C for walk in refrigerator and -18°C for walk in freezer)
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) where required and stand for extended periods
- Flexible to work various shifts and weekends
- Ability to lead and direct a team
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic English communication skills
- Basic knowledge in mathematics
