BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Lincolnton, NC. BAYADA’s Direct Support Professionals DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

We’re hiring urgently for the following areas: Lincolnton, Denver, Stanley, and the surrounding area. 

 

Shifts available: Afternoons, Evenings (6pm - 9pm) during the weekdays; flexible weekends (up to 12 hour shifts) 
*shifts subject to change based on client needs

 


How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
  • Accompany clients on errands and appointments
  • Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
  • Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
  • Participate in community integration activities
  • Help lift and reposition clients.

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

  • One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
