Build your skills. Grow with LICAS Auto.
LICAS Auto in Osage Beach is growing. We currently have two full-time technicians and are adding a third. We're looking for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in doing the job correctly and wants to build a future with a growing local dealership.
Starting pay is $20 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on demonstrated mechanical skills, work quality, and the responsibilities you can handle. This is a starting rate, not a ceiling. We will evaluate your abilities during the initial period and review your pay accordingly.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Check in incoming vehicles: inspect the frame and underbody for visible damage or corrosion, check fluids and leaks, assess tires, brakes and suspension, and document concerns and needed repairs.
- Perform oil and filter changes, fluid services, and routine maintenance.
- Perform brake work and light suspension repairs, including ball joints and control arms, within your skill level.
- Diagnose mechanical concerns when qualified and communicate when further testing or outside service is needed.
- Road-test vehicles when appropriate and verify completed repairs.
- Move vehicles, help with service and inspection appointments, and assist with other vehicle-related errands as needed.
- Keep tools and work areas organized and communicate clearly with the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on mechanical ability with oil changes, brakes, basic suspension work, and vehicle condition checks.
- Ability to recognize problems, explain what you find, and ask questions when needed.
- Safe work habits, attention to detail, dependable attendance, and willingness to keep learning.
- A valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles safely.
Stronger repair and diagnostic skills are welcome and can support higher earning potential. Tell us what you've actually worked on and which repairs you can complete confidently. Professional shop experience is a plus; practical ability matters.
