- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Services Representative (PSR) role within a Hospital, ER, or ClinicÂ
- Previous experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferredÂ

Essential Job functions and responsibilitiesÂ
1. Front Desk Operations:Â
- Greet patients and guests with a cheerful demeanorÂ
- Determine necessary services and direct patients accordinglyÂ
- Collect demographic information and ensure proper signatures for billing accuracyÂ
- Maintain logs of patient information and manage phone inquiries professionallyÂ
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean and welcoming environmentÂ
2. Financial Responsibilities:Â
- Collect payments via cash, checks, and credit card for co-pays and account balancesÂ
- Maintain an accurate financial ledger and perform daily reconciliation of patient accountsÂ
3. Facility Cleanliness:Â
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility, including patient areas and restroomsÂ
4. Communication Skills:Â
- Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and team members, upholding the Emergency Center's core valuesÂ

- Attend monthly staff meetings and engage in performance improvement activitiesÂ
