In addition, the Representative will help deliver world-class customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA. The incumbent will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of their work with the YMCA.     OUR PATH For 150 years, the YMCA of Metro Denver has been more than a place - it is a movement that lifts spirit, mind and body for all.  Our direction is clear: Elevate Lives and Rise Together.  Grounded by our mission and strengthened by the global YMCA movement we will elevate our people, purpose, partnerships and promise.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  Provide careful and attentive supervision for all participants in program  Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios as per rules of YMCA of Metropolitan Denver   Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Adventure Zone, meeting all YMCA policies   Provide positive continual interaction with all children in the program   Maintain open and positive communication with parents, members, and staff   Facilitate program that invites exploration, promotes positive play and welcomes children   Implement classroom curriculum, activities, experiences and routines under the guidance of the Membership Manager Promotes team concept through a positive approach to supervision, communication, and interactions with others; maintains ongoing communication with supervisor   Proactively clean up and/or repair areas used by the program   Attend and remain current on all mandatory training and staff meetings   Be knowledgeable and supportive of the YMCA annual support campaign, and general procedures and policies, including personnel guidelines, facility access procedures, membership policies, and emergency plans     WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS  Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger to handle or feel objects, tools, controls, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and taste and smell   Be able to lift up to 50 pounds   Specific vision abilities are required including accurate sight up close, distant, peripheral and ability to focus   Noise level in the work environment is moderate but may be moderate to high    DISCLAIMER The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver reserves the right to modify, add, or remove job duties and responsibilities as business needs evolve.
