As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with security-related incident reporting. You will remain visible to help deter unauthorized access while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle access.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate security-related logs, incident reports, and access records in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
