Location: Livonia, MI
Schedule: Night Shift, Full Time

SUMMARY: 

The Respiratory Therapist renders professional respiratory care to patients within an assigned unit or floor within the hospital, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital.  Orients patients to their treatments and develops measurable respiratory goals for each patient at their level of growth/development/age group and understanding.  Assess, administers, monitors, evaluates aerosolized medication treatments to patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program required. 

  • Registered as Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. 

  • Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist License required. 

  • BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association required.

  • Previous Respiratory experience preferred.
