Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic tojoin our team in Lockport, NY. The ideal Technician will have a strongbackground in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of construction and agricultural equipment,ensuring machinery safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various types of heavyequipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, asphalt equipment, AG tractors, harvest equipment etc.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and preventiveservices on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, andhydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify andaddress potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment,adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairsperformed.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
  
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, andhydraulic systems.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.
  
• Excellent communication and customer serviceskills.
  
• Must have your own set of tools
• Valid driver’s license.
  
• Employment subjected to a pre-employment check.
