FULL TIME FACULTY 10-MONTH

Full-Time Faculty, 10 Months, Prelicensure Nursing

Felician University is currently seeking experienced, dedicated and academically qualified nursing specialists to teach in the Prelicensure Program of the School of Nursing. Candidates should have experience teaching in both traditional and online venues and must be willing to successfully complete Felician online certification. S/he must have an educational background in the fundamentals of the discipline, as well as a wealth of real-world experience to bring to class discussions and case analyses.

Required Education:

Masters of Science in Nursing required, doctoral degree preferred. Faculty teaching in the graduate program must have an earned doctoral degree or currently enrolled in doctoral program

Qualifications:

• Licensure in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. Graduate Faculty must have current national certification and NJ Board of Nursing licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• 2+ years' practical experience in the area of specialization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in clinical nursing education.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in an institution of higher education.
• Superior written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.

Salary Range:

$77,380 - 93,048 commensurate with rank, experience and certifications
