Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of lesson activities while providing a safe, fun and professional learning and working environment Responsible for training and assigning work Create and maintain instructor schedules Handle general line-up, operations and on-snow tasks Monitors lesson groups to ensure quality and safety Complete daily reports for payroll Teach lessons as needed Other assigned duties Promote and emphasize safety in all classes QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: At least two years of experience as a ski or snowboard instructor is required Must be at least 18 years of age. At least one year of experience in a leadership or team-building role is preferred Knowledge of snow sport school products and procedures Expert skill in skiing or snowboarding PSIA/AASI Membership in good standing is preferred Must be available to work 4 days per week, including holidays and weekends This position often requires standing and skiing or snowboarding for extended periods of time, in various weather conditions
