Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Del Amo Motorsports of Long Beach - LONG BEACH, CA 90807Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 HourlyTechnician • Ability to assemble and PDI new units. • Responsible for new units, starting from receiving to customer walk around as outlined in the PDI training procedures and guidelines. • Responsible for organization and control of PDI area and service warehouse storage • Capable of performing simple maintenance i.e.; oil changes, tire changes, etc • Able to work under close supervision of PDI Manager and Service Manager. • Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department. • Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times. • Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. • Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Some technical and / or mechanical aptitude. • Familiarity of product lines sold in dealership. QualificationsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions present at that time. • Work performed in a shop setting, as well as exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives. • Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs. • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls. • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. • Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. • Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times. QUALIFICATIONS • Previous motorcycle or automobile service experience preferred. • High School Diploma or equivalent. ⇒ This position reports directly to the Service Manager.
