JOB DESCRIPTION

**This position will work PST business hours**

Responsible for leading complex business programs and strategic initiatives that support organizational objectives and operational excellence. Oversees cross-functional teams consisting of business, operational, technical, and external stakeholders to successfully deliver large-scale initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition. These positions' primary focus is project/program management, rather than the application of expertise in a specialized functional field of knowledge although they may have technical team members.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Manages complex, cross-functional business programs involving operational, technical, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert to Program Managers and in functional areas; leads programs to meet critical needs.
  • Partners with business leaders and stakeholders to define objectives, gather requirements, develop implementation strategies, and drive execution.
  • Facilitates collaboration across multiple departments to ensure alignment, communication, accountability, and achievement of program objectives.
  • Develops and delivers status reports, business cases, dashboards, and recommendations to support informed decision making.
  • Manages program scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful delivery within established timelines and objectives.
  • Oversees vendor relationships and external partners as needed to support program execution and business outcomes.
  • Develops and maintains project documentation including business requirements, process workflows, implementation plans and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements as part of program delivery.
  • Ability to translate healthcare business requirements into operational solutions while partnering with clinical, operational, compliance, finance, network, and technology stakeholders.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

7-9 years Progrom Management

Required License, Certification, Association

PMP Certification (and/or comparable coursework)

Preferred Education

Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience

  • 7-10 years of program or project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. 
  • At least 5 years of experience within a healthcare payer domain. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide operational, regulatory, business transformation, or technology-enabled initiatives.
  • PMP Certification 
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt 
  • Agile/Scrum Certification 
  • ITIL Foundation Certification

Preferred License, Certification, Association

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, ITIL Certification desired
