POSITION SUMMARY
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replacing amenities. This is a fast-paced position requiring the ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight. Previous cleaning experience and the ability to communicate with guests preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
- Prior housekeeping experience helpful.
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.

- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Meet service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction; respond to guest questions or problems in a timely, professional manner.
- WORK HABITS: Meet hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, attendance, and punctuality; report to work and return from breaks on time; give advance notice when absence is anticipated.
- PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: Accept opportunities to learn new skills, improve performance, or cross-train for other hotel positions.
- SAFETY AND SECURITY: Be alert to hazards; follow hotel's safety, security, and emergency procedures; report potential risks or hazardous conditions.
- ROOM CLEANING: Meet hotel standards for cleanliness; clean all assigned rooms on schedule; keep cart and supplies orderly; pass room inspections.

- Constantly. Maintain cleanliness of lobby, public restrooms, office areas, elevators, and stairs.
- Constantly. Maintain work areas neat and organized.
- Constantly. Report all problems and maintenance repairs as needed.
- Constantly. Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Frequently. Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross training.
- Frequently. Replace cleaning supplies; unload/load housekeeping carts.
