Schedule: Full Time Monday, Wednesday, Fridays, and every other weekend 3 pm to 11 pm (32 hours)

Summary 

Glenmeadow is seeking a caring and compassionate RN or LPN. The Retirement Community Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents. This role is ideal for a dedicated and empathetic nursing professional committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in a vibrant senior living community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments andmonitorresidents' health status regularly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their familiesregardinghealth management and wellness.
  • Respond to calls ina timelyandappropriate manner. 
  • Document all nursing care and resident interactions accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.

Education and Experience 

  • ActiveRN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
  • Previousexperience in a nursing role, preferably in a long-term care, geriatric, orretirement community setting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Strong clinical assessment skills toidentifyhealth concerns and monitor changes in residents’ conditions 
  • Effective communication skills to educate residents and families and collaborate with healthcare team members 
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and ensuretimelycare delivery 
  • Compassion and empathy to provide emotional support and enhance residents’ overall well-being 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
