About Us

Independent Artist Group (IAG) was born upon the merger of Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) and Artist Group International (AGI) in the summer of 2023. IAG combines the breadth of APA's renowned full-service representation capabilities as a legacy talent and literary agency in the entertainment industry with AGI's reputation as a premier independent music touring agency, representing superstar stadium and arena acts, as well as cutting-edge emerging artists in the music and comedy worlds. The result is a powerful new voice in artist representation, combining entrepreneurial passion, innovative partnerships, deal-making expertise, and deep industry relationships built over nearly a century.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments accurately and efficiently.
  • Resourceful, proactive, reliable, and able to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Timely and consistent follow-through, with the ability to initiate projects, establish timelines, and see assignments through to completion.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while remaining adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Interest in television, alternative programming, factual entertainment, and the broader entertainment industry.
