Job DetailsJob Location: La Brea - Los Angeles, CA 90016Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $55.00 - $65.00 HourlyWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in the Central Los Angeles area, where we are dedicated to providing quality care and improving the health of the communities we serve. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to optimize patient outcomes through comprehensive medication management, individualized patient assessments, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. You will play a key role in promoting safe and effective medication use while delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical healthcare environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Dispensing medications, accurately count, measure package and labeling medication. Counsel patients on medication side effects, proper usage and health management. Verify the accuracy of prescription orders, clarifying & advising orders with healthcare providers. Manage inventory and placing orders, maintaining sufficient supply, receiving, storing, and disposition. Stay current and comply with Healthcare and HIPPA regulations. Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy operations. Align to California State Board of Pharmacy rules for controlled substances and recordkeeping. Direct and oversee pharmacy technicians and support personnel. Develops and maintains good relationships with internal and external customers. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Registered & Licensed PharmD and active California Pharmacist license in good standing. Required Bilingual in Spanish required. 1-2 years’ experience performing Pharmacist duties. Basic pharmaceutical calculations such as sufficient quantity and days’ supply. Experienced with overseeing supporting staff.
